Peony Lactiflora Lorelei (Fall)

This hard-to-find peony is prized for its unusual color and form. Its remarkable color evolution begins with a bright coral-pink bud, then opens into a deep pink, and gradually transitions to gentler shades such as salmon, peach, and cream as it matures, with each bloom showing a subtly different hue. The effect is a bouquet of soft colors both in the garden and in a vase. The flowers have a nice fragrance, too.
