About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash colour variation, and worn-look surface treatments. Distressed elements mimic decades of wear, where selective fading and overdyeing reveal ghost-pattern traces beneath the primary colour wash. A medallion motif typically serves as the central focal point, rendered in geometric or stylised forms that are framed by structurally distinct borders.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie perfectly flat, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, and kitchens. Its low profile is compatible with underfloor heating systems and serves as a base for layering over larger carpets.
