Patriotic Eagle Tattoo with American Phoenix Design

In the upswelling of patriotism that followed the attacks on 9-11, this American Phoenix was a special commission as a coverup. This man felt deeply that he wished to show evidence on his skin that he was proud to be an American, and that the nation would rise, Phoenix-like, from the ashes of that terrible event. The wings of the bird are made entirely of flames, and the body is a shield of an American flag. A tattoo symbol for a free nation.
