Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip

Plant Patriot Blueberry in full sun and acidic, well-drained soil for the sweetest fruit and best performance. If your soil tends to be heavy or neutral, amend it with peat moss or a planting mix designed for acid-loving plants. Keep the soil moist, especially during fruiting, and apply mulch to protect roots and retain moisture. Prune lightly in late winter to remove older canes and stimulate new growth. Patriot is self-pollinating, but planting it near another variety will improve yields and fruit size. Its adaptability and toughness make it an ideal choice for gardeners who want beauty and bounty in equal measure.
