Oud Paradisio is a Woody, spicy, Fruity, sweet scent created for Men and Women in 2026 by perfumer Jordi Fernandez.

Review

As soon as this scent opens you get the Pineapple Ice Cream note. It’s creamy like soft serve, but not overly lactonic or too intensely Pineapple, as the Incense and Saffron add an interesting spicy, smoky depth. All of the Rose essences from the heart are apparent, but with the unique blend of the opening, nothing is too Rosy. They feel like they only give a hint of themselves, like gentle silky Rose petals. The Cocoa Absolute adds a hint of a kind of musky chocolatey essence as the Oud sets in at the base. Everything feels smooth, velvety and balanced with a hint of creaminess. Just a hint of the Pineapple Ice Cream can be felt all the way through to the end, giving this scent a gentle fruity essence in the dry down. Maybe the perfumer’s ideas are leading, but it almost feels like you’re wearing a very gentle Oud scent while eating ice cream….or like you’re eating ice cream in the woods….or like you’ve layered an Oud scent and a Vanilla Ice Cream scent. It’s an interesting juxtaposition, but very appealing to the senses. It’s gently woody, not quite totally lactonic or gourmand, but definitely smooth and creamy with that Pineapple Ice Cream not lingering nicely. While this scent does have a light sweetness to it, its warmth and depth make it perfectly suited for Fall, Winter and Spring weather. It has an elegance to it that may not be perfect for totally casual occasions, but it has a style that will work perfect for just about any time, place or occasion, whether that’s the office, drinks with friends, an evening out on the town with friends, or any formal function on your calendar. With its depth and Absolu concentration it will last on the skin. A lot of people compared this to Maison Crivelli’s Oud Maracuja and Hibiscus Mahajad blended together. Inspiration

Oud Paradisio has a double inspiration. One is the limitless bounds of working with Leather in the fashion industry; the way it can be changed and represented. The other is the idea of Oud Ice Cream. The scent represents the study of contrasts. Light meets dark, smoothness meets ruggedness.

Notes

Bergamot helps to lift a Pineapple Ice Cream note that feels soft and smooth when tempered by the Incense Essence and Saffron that follow closely behind it. Turkish Rose Essence, Turkish Rose Absolute and Bulgarian Rose Essence make up the heart of the scent, but never make this a ‘Rose scent’. They almost add a very, very soft, almost silky, Rose Petal essence that seems to lie just under the surface. Cocoa Absolute adds just a hint of a Musky type of Chocolate essence, but just barely. It likely helps the rest of the composition to temper the Oud essence, which feels very smooth and velvety and gentle. The scent, overall, is very well blended and balanced.
