Otto Luyken Cherry Laurel

A glossy, low evergreen that stays dense and composed, perfect for privacy and structure in smaller spaces

FEATURES:

• Compact, broad habit that stays low and full, spreading wider than it grows tall
• Glossy, dark green evergreen leaves that keep the landscape looking finished all year
• Creamy white spring flower spikes with a strong, sweet fragrance
• Free-flowering even in heavier shade, a rare talent and a very useful one
• Black fruit can follow bloom, adding subtle interest and a little bird appeal
• Hand Selected; Fresh from the Grower
• Ships on our trucks because of the size of the tree – does not fit in a box

Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip:

Let Otto Luyken be your evergreen base layer and keep the line clean with consistent spacing and a wide mulch strip underneath, then soften the front edge with lower, mounding shapes or ornamental grasses so the cherry laurel reads as a rich green backdrop while everything in front gets to be the seasonal star.
