Organic Polish Softneck Garlic (lb)

Description
Organic Polish Softneck is a practical immigrant-garden heirloom with unusual northern history for a braidable garlic. Pale bulbs offer a useful share of larger cloves, and the full flavor gives this pantry-friendly variety plenty of personality.
Its savory, aromatic spice remains noticeable after cooking, making it excellent for soups, tomato sauces, pickles and garlic bread. Larger cloves streamline roasting, while smaller cloves are handy for quick everyday seasoning.
Plant in fall early enough for roots to establish before deep cold. Harvest around mid-summer as the leaves yellow, then cure with the long stems attached if you plan to braid.
