Organic Kingsland Garlic (lb)

Organic Kingsland is a newer softneck with an approachable, useful set of traits: tidy scape-free plants, layered cloves and flexible stems for braiding. Its broad zone guidance makes it an intriguing variety to compare with established Artichoke favorites.

The medium flavor has enough presence for sauces, roasted vegetables, beans and compound butter without taking over the plate. Use larger outer cloves for roasting and smaller ones for dressings, stocks and quick sautés.

Plant a clearly labeled row in fall in full sun and freely draining soil. Reduce water as the tops soften around mid-summer, then cure the crop under cover.
