Organic Inchelium Red Garlic (lb)

Description
Organic Inchelium Red pairs an important Washington story with the generous productivity of an Artichoke softneck. Pale bulbs brushed with red and purple can hold an abundance of cloves, while supple stems make handsome braids after curing.
Its rounded flavor starts gently and grows fuller, making it equally welcome in vinaigrettes, pesto, beans, roasts and sauces. Cooking coaxes out an easy savory sweetness without losing its true garlic character.
Plant in fall in full sun and loose, fertile soil. Lift the bulbs in early summer as the foliage softens and yellows, then cure thoroughly before braiding or storing.
