Organic Dragon Carrot (Daucus carota)

This heirloom’s smooth magenta skin, orange-gold interior and sweet, spicy taste make it a treasure to slice up for snack time. Originally bred by Dr. John Navazio, the Dragon’s roots can reach 7” long.

• 200 seeds minimum
• Germination: 14-28 days
• Maturity: 80-90 days
• Direct sow first crop as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil. Resow in late summer for a fall crop.
• Plant in full sun and water consistently.
• Space plants 3-4” apart in rows 12” apart.
