Sample swatches are cut from remnant material to help limit waste, which means your sample is most likely cut from a different roll than your full order will be. As a result, the color of your sample may vary slightly from your actual order — this is especially common with wool materials. Oak Valley Designs does not manufacture the carpet itself; we source materials from our vendors, and dye lot variance is a standard, unavoidable part of the carpet industry.

Once you've chosen your style and color, we recommend placing your full order at the same time, so that all pieces are cut from the same roll and dye lot.
