NOHrD Bike V2

The gym equipment vs furniture problem

Most exercise bikes look like gym equipment, even in a living room

A connected spin bike usually means a wall of black plastic, exposed cabling, and a tablet clamped onto the handlebar. It works, but it rarely belongs in a well-designed home, so it gets pushed into a garage or a spare room instead of the space where someone would actually enjoy riding it.

The NOHRD Bike V2 solves that with a solid wood and steel frame built to double as furniture, engineered in Germany with precision planetary gearing and a wear-free magnetic brake. What sets the V2 apart from the original NOHRD Bike is a touchscreen seamlessly embedded within the handlebar itself, showing training data in a clean, customizable layout without bolting anything on top of the wood.

Riders can fine-tune resistance mid-pedal from a dial on the front-right of the frame, and the touchscreen pairs with training apps over Bluetooth, so the bike stays as functional as it is good looking.

Built in, not bolted on

Technology integrated into the frame, not clamped onto it

A concealed rubber fastening band pulls out from the wooden frame to secure a phone or tablet during a ride, and both the handlebar and saddle lock at multiple heights so the same bike fits a range of riders without ever looking adjusted.

What independent reviewers found

A frame built to last, long before the screen was added

"Wooden construction gives it a nice smooth feel and long durability. Its steel and wood combination provides great, high-weight carrying user capacity."

Independent Home Gym Review

A generic spin bike will undercut the NOHRD Bike V2 on price, but it typically skips the solid wood frame and magnetic resistance entirely, along with any pretense of belonging in a living room. Worth noting honestly, the integrated touchscreen is exclusive to the V2, the original NOHRD Bike shares the same wood and steel frame and magnetic brake but relies on a phone or tablet for training data instead.
