New England Rope with Galvanized Steel Thimbles - 1/2 Inch

About the New England Rope with Galvanized Steel Thimbles - 1/2 Inch

This New England Rope with Galvanized Steel Thimbles - 1/2 Inch features a twisted parallel blue nylon core covered by a 16-strand polyester over polyolefin braid. The cover is treated with a protective finish to reduce abrasion and extend the rope's life, while the blue core keeps the rope firm and round, doubling as a visual warning if the outer cover is ever damaged. Galvanized steel thimbles protect connection points at each end. Rated at 5,800 lbs (2,631 kg) tensile strength, this rope is available in 200 ft (61 m), 300 ft (91 m), and 400 ft (122 m) lengths.
