Neo-Nordic Yggdrasil Tree of Life Tattoo Design

A Tree of Life pattern quartered into the four seasons under a small triquetra tops this half-sleeve pattern for the upper arm, and the bottom shows two Nordic dragons tangled in a triquetra of roots. This calls up the story of Yggdrasil the World Tree of Nordic mythology. Now it is a melding of the symbols of both the Celtic and Viking cultures.
