National Pickling Cucumber (Cucumis sativus)

Bred by Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station for the Association of National Pickle Packers in the 1920s, these thin-skinned cukes are perfectly shaped for your canning jar. Crisp and flavorful fresh from the garden as well!

• 25 seeds minimum
• Germination 7-14 days
• Maturity: 65 days
• Direct sow in full sun after the last frost or start indoors 3 weeks prior to last frost. Plant 1/2" deep in soil or seed starting mix.
• Compost well and keep moist throughout summer.
• Space plants 12” apart in rows 5-6’ apart.
