Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip
Plant Natchez Blackberry in full sun for the sweetest, most flavorful berries. It thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and appreciates consistent watering during fruit development. Prune canes that have finished fruiting down to the ground in late fall or early winter, leaving the new canes that will produce the following year. Space plants to allow airflow and easy access for harvesting. Natchez ripens early, so pairing it with mid- and late-season varieties such as Arapaho or Chester will extend your berry harvest well into late summer.
