Narcissus 'Avalanche of Gold'

Narcissus 'Avalanche of Gold' lives up to its name by cranking out 8-15 small flowers per stem, with some bulbs producing multiple stems to boot. The sweet, spicily fragrant blooms of this Tazetta appear in tonal shades of yellow with buttercream petals surrounding a darker yellow corona. The blossoms are held on sturdy stems. They create a golden glow in the garden, containers, and vases. Midseason.

Narcissus blooms are for many gardeners the first visible signs of spring. These vigorous, long-lived bulbs thrive joyously in sunny, well-drained places, are shunned by hungry deer and voles, and will thrive and multiply with little care on your part, creating a glorious landscape and a horticultural legacy.
