Description

The Naniwa Diamond Pro #600 is a professional-grade diamond stone built for sharpening dull or hard-to-sharpen blades, refining the edge after coarser repair work and preparing it for finer stones. We recommend it for efficiently sharpening hard stainless steels like HAP40 and ZDP-189, which cause conventional whetstones to dish quickly; the Diamond Pro's resin-bonded diamond surface stays flat instead. It needs only a splash of water to use, with a small dressing stone included to keep the surface true over years of use.

  • #600 diamond grit sharpens dull or damaged edges on the hardest steels, picking up where a coarser stone like the #400 leaves off
  • Resin-bonded diamond layer on a metal base holds its edge and stays flat far longer than traditional whetstones
  • Splash-and-go design—just add water, no soaking required
  • Includes a small dressing stone to keep the diamond surface flat and performing at its best
  • Made in Japan, part of Naniwa's professional-grade Diamond Pro series
