Mullein Seeds (Organic)

Organic mullein seeds grow Verbascum thapsus, a biennial plant that forms a rosette of soft gray-green leaves in its first year and a tall yellow flower spike in its second year. Mullein can be used as a structural accent in herb, cottage, and naturalized gardens where its mature size and reseeding can be managed.

Sowing and placement

Spring is listed as the planting season. Follow the packet for sowing depth, temperature, spacing, and germination directions. Mullein seed is small, so prepare a weed-reduced seedbed and maintain surface moisture without waterlogging.

Choose a site with room for the second-year stalk and monitor unwanted seedlings. Common mullein is regulated or considered invasive in some regions; confirm local recommendations before planting and prevent seed formation where spread is a concern. This product is sold for growing, not as medical guidance.
