Minowase Summer Cross No. 3 Daikon Radish

50 days. The 1 ¾ inch wide, 8–10 inch long uniform roots are white inside and out, super mild, sweet and juicy. Even kids love the crunchy mild flavor of this one! For a change of pace, try a salad made with equal amounts of thinly sliced Minowase radishes, bulb fennel and chopped parsley. Toss with lemon juice, olive oil and grated Parmesan cheese. Best sown from June through early August.
