About the Art
My work requires me spend a lot of time travelling, visiting new places but also often away from home. Beadwork has always been a way to ground myself and find connection. Travelling during the creation of this work, I was able to think deeply about my relationship to home, to my beadwork practice and to the materials I work with. To find myself at home in thought.
