Mercurial Spirals Book of Kells Tattoo Design

An evocative circle of spirals taken from the 6th century Book of Kells illuminated manuscript. The size of a dime in the original, greatly enlarged here to encompass the hip and onto the butt of a very fit and wiry man. Sculptural art! The central triscle is surrounded by interlocking double spirals and triquetras, a symphony of threes.
