Composed by Mylène Alran, it takes the date palms of the Al Aïn Oasis as its subject and turns them into something plush, sweet and quietly spiced.

It opens juicy and bright, with ripe plum cut by green, camphorous cardamom that keeps the fruit from turning syrupy. The heart is the centerpiece: a rich date accord, almost fermented in its sweetness, threaded with golden saffron that adds a leathery, faintly medicinal glow reminiscent of karak chai.
