Mellow Star Pepper

70-80 days. A wildly popular Japanese snacking pepper, this shishito type has characteristic thin skin and a very mild flavor. The 3 ½–4 inch long, green, deeply wrinkled fruit are typically prepared either stir-fried, pan-fried with a touch of oil and soy sauce, or in tempura.
