This large decorative Amish wicker wall hanging basket adds a warm and inviting look and feel when you hang it on any wall in your home or office. This mail pocket basket is perfect for organizing your bills, envelopes, notepads, magazines, or any items you are trying to organize and keep in one place. It measures 11 1/2 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches deep and 9 inches tall, with a flat back that sits against the wall. This wall hanging basket comes complete with a leather loop handle strap so it’s easy to hang in your entryway or anywhere around your home: the loop is riveted to the posts at the top of the back wall and hangs on a nail, a hook or a peg. Owners use it for the day's mail as it arrives, for dog leashes and collars on the back of a door, for kitchen utensils, winter gloves on a peg wall, quilting patterns, decorative flower arrangements, or to keep magazines and catalogs organized in your bathroom. As Nancy wrote in her review, "It is sturdily made and holds all the mail and magazines that come to my home." Many owners hang one of our mail baskets outside by the front door as a mailbox. An engraved solid brass plate is optional on this page. For flowers on a door, the Front Door Hanging Basket hangs by its wood handle. This unique hanging mail basket is a great addition to any rustic, primitive, farmhouse or retro decor. Handwoven in the Heartland of the USA and signed by the Amish Crafter.
