Design and construction

Symmetry does the design work here: two matching basin bays, level fronts, and pulls shaped into the wood rather than mounted onto it. The cabinet is solid teak, a hardwood whose natural oils suit a room that sees steam every morning. Drawer boxes are joined with dovetails and run on soft-close hardware, so they close evenly under everyday use. The teak is FSC-certified, traceable to responsibly managed forests.

Countertop and finish

Countertops come in quartz, marble, quartzite or terrazzo, cut with either a Mitered or a Cove edge and paired with a matching backsplash. Both white basins are undermounted, leaving a flat stone surface that wipes clean around each bowl. The countertop ships in its own protective box and the basins are set during installation, not fitted beforehand.
