Lisianthus

Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum), commonly known as prairie gentian, is an elegant annual or biennial valued for its rose-like, ruffled flowers that bloom in shades of purple, lavender, pink, white, and bi-colors. Its upright, bushy habit and long-lasting blooms make it ideal for garden beds, borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements, providing vibrant color and a delicate texture to plantings in North Florida and South Georgia.

Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun to partial sun
• Water: Keep soil evenly moist, but well-drained; avoid waterlogging
• Pruning: Remove spent blooms to encourage additional flowering and maintain plant   shape
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for   consistent blooms
