Featuring abrash detail and an overdyed finish, this low-pile, no-shed, high-traffic durable, layering-friendly, underfloor-heating safe, reversible weave, soft-touch, distressed character, ghost-pattern, 70s craftsmanship, cotton-polyester blend, single-piece artisanal, sun-bleached tones rug offers a storied aesthetic.

About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic through faded tones, abrash-like colour variation, and distressed surface treatments. These pieces often feature a central medallion motif, a hallmark of classical Anatolian design, which is frequently rendered in geometric or stylised forms. Distressing occurs through decades of use and modern overdying, a process that leaves ghost traces of the original pattern beneath a saturated colour wash.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction of this rug makes it ideal for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, and kitchens. Its low-profile design is suitable for placement over underfloor heating systems and serves as a practical base for layering in larger rooms.

Why Choose This Rug?
