Lilium leichtlinii

Gardeners and lily aficionados alike adore this Japanese native lily. Lilium leichtlinii produces up to 20 yellow, recurved blooms per stem. The 2" flowers feature purplish-maroon freckles and closely resemble exotic tiger lilies. The graceful plants are very fast growing and will reach up to 7 feet tall in just a few years. Flowers face downward so you get a good look from below. Adds amazing color and striking good looks to back borders, focal point plantings and rustic fence lines.
