Description
The outlet problem
Most indoor bikes need a wall outlet and a subscription. This one needs neither.
Plenty of connected bikes chain you to a power cord and a locked-in app subscription just to see your own numbers. Others use felt-pad resistance that wears unevenly and never quite matches the feel of pedaling outside.
The Life Fitness IC5 Indoor Cycle runs on a self-powered generator built into the flywheel, so it charges its own WattRate LCD+ computer as you pedal. No batteries, no outlet, no cord to route across the room.
Magnetic resistance adjusts instantly through a 300 degree dial mounted right under the handlebar, and the 155mm Q-Factor keeps your pedal stroke narrow and efficient, the way a high-end road bike feels.
Train with real data
Four training modes built into the console
The WattRate LCD+ computer tracks watts, cadence, heart rate, and resistance level in real time, and the console walks you through four modes without needing an app.

Bluetooth and ANT+ connect the bike to the ICG app for over 150 expert-designed rides, or to Strava, Zwift, and Apple Health if you would rather keep training in the apps you already use.
What riders say
Real mileage, real results
"It's a great feeling to be back in the saddle. My new ICG5 is smooth and quiet, and the experience has reinvigorated the road bike feel. My goal is to ride 100 miles per week. I've dropped 12 pounds in three weeks, and my energy is way up. This bike isn't just an indoor cycle, it's an investment towards a healthy life."
Nikita P., Verified Buyer
Budget indoor bikes often rely on felt-pad friction resistance that wears unevenly and needs regular pad replacement, and many lock basic metrics behind a required app subscription. The IC5's magnetic resistance and self-powered console work the same on day one and year five, with no subscription required to see your numbers.
Ideal for
Riders who want real power data without a required subscription, households with more than one rider thanks to fully adjustable fit, and anyone who wants a self-powered bike that works anywhere in the home.
