LAVIS Pat Pat Gel (Ver 2) - P01 - Petal Pop

Petal Pop is Lavis Pat Pat Gel P01 (Ver2): a dense, highly pigmented gel in a flat pan, patted onto the nail with a sponge. Patted to opacity it is a solid color; patted thin and blended it is an ombre, aura or blush; picked up on a detail brush it paints pop-up nail art.

How to use

1. Prep and cure a gel base (Base & Top Gel); for an ombre or aura, cure a light gel color first as the ground.
2. Press a sponge from the sponge and grabber set onto the pan.
3. Pat onto the nail: evenly for a solid, densely at one end and fading out for a gradient. Flash cure, pat a second layer to deepen, cure.
4. For lines and designs, pick the gel up on a detail brush from Nail Art instead.
5. Seal with a glossy gel top and cure.

Questions

Pat gel or brush-on gel for an ombre? A brush-on gel goes translucent and streaky when sponged; a pat gel is dense enough to stay opaque on the sponge, so the gradient fades clean.

One sponge per shade? Yes. A sponge that has touched two pans muddies both; the 100-piece set is sized for that habit.

How is it removed? Patted gel is sealed under top coat and soaks off with the rest of the gel set: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push.
