Description

Bold crimson red: that is Lavis C02-23, from the 24-shade Scarlet Bloom line (a 24-shade red spectrum from magenta to burgundy). The finish is cream and glitter reds. Two thin coats for full opacity; the glitter finishes take a third if you want them dense.

Why techs pick C02-23

  • Cream and glitter reds finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range.
  • Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
  • 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application.
  • 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat.

Questions about C02-23

What does HEMA-free mean here? Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts.

Can I layer C02-23 over a cream color? Yes. One coat over a cured solid adds the cream and glitter reds finish to that color; two coats over bare base give the look Lavis designed.

How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
