Description

Lavis C02-12 is bold crimson red, one of 24 in the Scarlet Bloom line. The palette is a 24-shade red spectrum from magenta to burgundy, the finish cream and glitter reds, and the coat count sets the look: two thin coats for full opacity; the glitter finishes take a third if you want them dense.

Why techs pick C02-12

  • Cream and glitter reds finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range.
  • Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
  • 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application.
  • 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat.

Questions about C02-12

What does HEMA-free mean here? Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts.

Why does the finish look patchy? Coats that are too thick or not cured between layers. Keep each coat thin, cure 60 seconds after every one, and cap the free edge on the first.

How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
