Description

Bold crimson red. Lavis C02-04 is one of the 24 shades in the Scarlet Bloom line, a 24-shade red spectrum from magenta to burgundy, with a cream and glitter reds finish: Two thin coats for full opacity; the glitter finishes take a third if you want them dense.

Why techs pick C02-04

  • Cream and glitter reds finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range.
  • Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
  • 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application.
  • 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat.

Questions about C02-04

What does HEMA-free mean here? Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts.

How many coats does C02-04 need? Two thin coats for full opacity; the glitter finishes take a third if you want them dense. Keep a swatch tip at one, two and three coats so the client can choose.

How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
