Description

Dreamy lilac translucent jelly: that is Lavis C01-11, from the 24-shade Jelly Jamboree line (sheer jelly pastels that glow like candy). The finish is translucent jelly. One thin coat for a sheer tint, two for jelly saturation, three for the milky shades.

Why techs pick C01-11

  • Translucent jelly finish from the Lavis C-series, the specialty-finish range.
  • Formulated without HEMA: stated as what is left out, not as a promise that nobody can react.
  • 0.5 fl oz (15 mL) salon bottle, high-gloss, smooth application.
  • 60 second cure per coat under UV or LED; Lavis quotes up to 21 days of wear with proper prep and a top coat.

  2. Thin first coat of C01-11, free edge capped, cured 60 seconds.
  3. Second coat, and a third where the finish wants it: One thin coat for a sheer tint, two for jelly saturation, three for the milky shades. Cure 60 seconds after each.
  4. Seal with a glossy gel top coat and cure.

Best for

Lavis pitches the Jelly Jamboree line for spring, summer and all year. Layering and encapsulation: sheer jellies over glitter, foil or chrome keep the art visible. French and ombre work: translucent tips blend into the base without a hard line.

Questions about C01-11

What does HEMA-free mean here? Lavis formulates the C-series without HEMA, the small monomer in most gel products and the one most often named when a client reacts to gel. That is an exclusion, not a guarantee that no one reacts.

Can I layer C01-11 over a cream color? Yes. One coat over a cured solid adds the translucent jelly finish to that color; two coats over bare base give the look Lavis designed.

How is it removed? A normal gel soak-off: file the top thin, wrap in acetone, wait, push the softened gel away. Never pry.
