About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash-like colour variation, or worn-look surface treatments. These pieces reference the mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving tradition, where items were produced in small village workshops using regional floral motifs. Floral compositions range from densely scrolled all-over fields to mid-century rose-bouquet repeats, reflecting both traditional Ottoman vocabulary and 20th-century regional variations.

Where It Works

The flatwoven construction allows this rug to lie flat against the floor, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as hallways, living rooms, and kitchens. It is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems and serves as a practical choice for layering over larger carpets.
