Knight’s Tour is an aromatic, fresh spicy, earthy scent created in 2026 by perfumer Jordi Fernandez.

Review

This scent is aromatic, fresh, spicy and earthy. It opens with a spicy blend of Nutmeg, Saffron and Ginger, with the brightness of Cedrat. A blast of Lavender becomes very prominent as the spices begin to mellow, with Cedarwood following closely behind, adding its familiar bright and crisp woody essence. There is a very gentle earthy quality to the scent from Vetiver, Oakmoss and warm Cashmeran. It almost feels as if you’re standing in a grassy clearing; on one side of you is a dense forest, and just over a hill on the other side you can see a field of Lavender. The Gardenia adds a very faint fresh floral essence within this earthy blend. It all gives a very calming energy with a relaxed casual elegance. It feels like the aromas of the outdoors on the skin. Though it is a universal scent, it has a very gentle masculine lean to it. It has a more casual vibe that can be worn any time, place or occasion you desire, and is easily dressed up for formal occasions. It is a scent you can wear any time of year, and its Extrait concentration will last on the skin. It has similar vibes to Parfums de Marly Galloway and Mind Games Gambit.

Inspiration

Knight’s Tour takes inspiration from the complex beauty of nature in all its facets, both light and dark.

In Chess, a Knight’s Tour is when the Knight moves continuously across the Chess Board, hitting every square on the board exactly one time. 

Notes

This scent opens with Cedrat citrus brightening a spicy blend of Nutmeg, Saffron and Red Ginger. Lavender bursts forth next, but is mellowed out with the fresh and crisp woodiness of Cedarwood. Vetiver and Oakmoss add a fresh and earthy essence that smells of the outdoors. Cashmeran adds a gentle woody warmth and Benzoin a very faint hint of a warm smokiness that is almost undetectable. A note of Gardenia seems to come much later than expected, fleetingly adding the essence of itself before fading into the background. Overall this scent is fresh and aromatic with a very gentle earthy, woody essence.
