Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip:

Dogwoods love being the “star” without being roasted by afternoon sun. Aim for morning sun and afternoon shade, then underplant with low, shade-friendly layers to keep the roots cool and the base looking finished. Bonus: a simple ring of dark evergreen shrubs nearby makes those white blooms look even crisper, like fresh linen in spring.
