Japanese Moon Tattoo Design

The Japanese moon-viewing ceremony has been for centuries a time for contemplation, the writing of love poetry, and for communing with "mono no aware," the savoring of the fleeting nature of beauty. The simple symbol of the crescent moon is linked here with the beautiful Japanese kanji character for moon. A tattoo design for a sensitive soul.
