This hefty, cool-climate lover forms large, white heads measuring 7-8 inches across. Its sweet, tender-crisp texture makes it delicious mashed, raw, roasted, or steamed. Versatile Igloo freezes extremely well and pickles beautifully.

• 100 seeds minimum
• Germination: 4-10 days
• Maturity: 75 days
• Direct sow ¼” deep outdoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date or indoors in early winter for spring transplant. Repeat in midsummer for an autumn harvest. Plant or transplant in direct sun.
• Space plants 18-24” apart in rows 2 ½-3’ apart.
• Requires cool temperatures and consistent moisture. Mulching helps.
