Description

A member of the Honeysuckle family, Honeyberry is grown for its blueberry- like fruit. Native to Russia, the small shrubs are hardy to zone 3 and are easy-to-grow with no pest or disease problems. The soft gray-green, velvet-like foliage has a spreading habit and the shrubs usually reach 3’ high and 4’ wide. The tasty, easy-to-harvest fruit looks like elongated blueberries. The fruit may be eaten fresh or frozen to enjoy later. We also offer a Honeyberry Set: ‘Indigo Gem’ and ‘Tundra’ since 2 varieties are needed for pollination. These are both late bloomers (usually flowering in May) with the fruit ripening in July and August.

Available in a 4" pot.
