Hogyoku Japanese Maple

A vigorous Japanese maple with rounded leaves, a bright green summer canopy, and a fall finish in gold, orange, and red

FEATURES:

• Rounded, full-looking leaves that give the canopy a bold, lush texture
• Strong, upright growth that develops into a well-shaped small shade tree
• Fresh green summer foliage that stays clean and bright in the landscape
• Excellent specimen tree for lawns, patios, and focal planting beds
• Handles sun better than many Japanese maples when given consistent moisture
• Fall color in gold, orange, and red for a vivid seasonal finish
• Hand Selected; Fresh from the Grower
• Ships on our trucks because the size of the tree - does not fit in a box.

Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip:

Choose one place to “feature” a Japanese maple and keep that area calm. Use clean groundcover, a mulch ring, and a few simple evergreens nearby. The tree will provide the color shifts and seasonal interest, and the surrounding plants will keep it looking intentional rather than busy.
