Description
The artful, unusual coloration and textures of Hemerocallis ‘Brouhaha’ might easily cause a hubbub in your garden as neighbors, friends, and passersby exclaim over its charms. Pinkish, pale maroon petals and sepals frame a golden appliqué throat (in which the coloring has a distinct margin and does not bleed outward). A deep burgundy eye plus dark maroon and amber picotee edging on the petals further enhance the display. Flowers measure more than 5” across and top triple-branched scapes that can reach 28” tall. Plants may rebloom in late summer through early fall. Plant this one where it can be admired.
Daylilies (Hemerocallis) are the plants every gardener dreams of. They offer glorious flowers in every shade except blue, a long season of bloom (though individual flowers last but a day), and a robust disposition that makes them easy to transplant, easy to maintain, quick to multiply, and resistant to pests. They make a carefree and colorful ground cover.
We ship plants that usually bloom the first year. They will outperform lesser grades offered elsewhere. Except as noted, all are dormant varieties, which means their leaves are deciduous.
