Quickly and easily mount your birdhouse to any wall, post, or tree with this durable mounting bracket. It is black welded steel: a small wall plate, about 2 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches wide, with a 10 inch arm that turns up into a square plate under the birdhouse. That plate screws into the wood bottom of our Rustic Bird House, and the four screws for it come with the bracket. The four screws or bolts that fasten the wall plate to your wall, post, fence or tree are not included, since the right ones depend on what you are mounting it to, and the plate sits comfortably on a 4 x 4 post. Songbirds such as wrens and chickadees nest only in a house that is mounted solidly, and holding the house still is the job this bracket does.
