Hazeda - Vintage Floral Rug - 6'0 X 9'6

This hand-woven, one-of-a-kind piece embodies Anatolian heritage through flatwoven construction, featuring a faded patina, abrash detail, and overdyed finish. With a low-pile, no-shed, high-traffic durable profile, it is layering-friendly and underfloor-heating safe. Its reversible weave, soft-touch, distressed character, ghost-pattern, 70s craftsmanship, cotton-polyester blend, single-piece artisanal quality, and sun-bleached tones define this red vintage rug.

About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash-like colour variation, or worn-look surface treatments. These pieces reference the tradition of mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving, where items were produced in small village workshops using regional motifs. Floral vintage rugs utilise botanical forms, such as blossoms and vines, ranging from densely scrolled all-over fields to mid-century rose-bouquet repeats that reflect both traditional Ottoman vocabulary and 20th-century regional variations.

Where It Works

The flatweave construction allows this rug to lie flat against the floor, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, and kitchens. Its low-profile nature is suitable for underfloor heating and allows for easy layering over larger rugs.
