GreenWave Salt-Free Water Conditioner: Stop Hard Water Scale. Stop Hauling Salt.
No salt. No drain. No power. Just far less scale in your pipes, fixtures and water heater.
- Cut the white crust on faucets, shower heads and pipes
- Never lift another salt bag or refill a brine tank
- Appliances last longer by cutting scale buildup
Less hard water scale: what changes after GreenWave goes in
You already know the signs of hard water: white crust on the aerators, film on the shower glass, a water heater that works harder every year. GreenWave goes after the limescale itself.
Stops scale on faucets and shower heads.
Far less scale bakes onto aerators and fixtures. The spots that still form wipe off with a cloth instead of a scraper or harsh chemicals.
Appliances that last longer.
Scale builds up first where water gets hot. GreenWave helps keep the tank and heating elements free of scale, so it can run the way it was built to.
No more hauling salt.
No 40-pound bags in the trunk, no brine tank to refill, no regeneration schedule. Nothing to plug in, nothing to program, nothing to babysit.
Water that still feels like water.
No slippery feel and no added sodium. Soap and shampoo may rinse off faster than with softened water.
A Salt-Free Conditioner You Can Rely On
Keeps the minerals, stops the scale.
GreenWave leaves calcium and magnesium in your water and stops them from sticking as scale, so your hardness test reads the same after install while the crust goes away. If you want soft water with that slippery feel, our specialists will point you to a softener instead of selling you the wrong system.
Easy to install yourself.
No worries about running a drain, hooking up a brine tank or wiring in electricity. GreenWave is plug and play: drop it in on your main line with standard 1" connections and the included bypass valve, and our DIY videos walk you through every step.
Lower cost to keep it running.
When the media is spent, you buy a rebed kit and keep the tank, at a lower cost per liter than some other brands charge for replacement media. GreenWave also publishes its media volume for every size, 3, 5 or 7 liters, so you know what you are paying for.
Real water specialists, one call away.
Talk with a certified water specialist, not a script reader, about whether GreenWave fits your home and what needs to go in front of it. After install, the same team is a phone call away, and the tank and valve carry a lifetime warranty.
How GreenWave keeps scale from sticking
Special media inside the tank turns dissolved calcium into tiny, harmless crystals that flow through your pipes instead of sticking to them. Here is what happens inside the tank.
Step 1: Water flows up through the tank.
Hard water enters at the bottom and flows upward. That flow lifts the media into a fluidized bed, so water moves around every grain and none passes through untreated.
Step 2: The media seeds tiny crystals.
On the media's surface, dissolved calcium bicarbonate turns into microscopic calcium carbonate crystals. The calcium is still in your water. It has simply changed form.
Step 3: Crystals ride through your plumbing.
The crystals release, stay suspended in the water and pass through your pipes and fixtures. Because the calcium is already crystallized, far less of it grabs onto hot surfaces as hard scale. That matters most in your water heater, where heat makes scale form fastest.
Step 4: Nothing to regenerate.
There is no salt, no backwash and no electricity, so there is no wastewater in daily operation. The media keeps working until it is spent, and a rebed kit refreshes it.
The evidence: A 2014 Arizona State University study for the WateReuse Research Foundation found the same family of TAC media formed more than 88% less scale than untreated water under heated lab conditions.
