Gourd, Birdhouse Seeds, 3.5g

Birdhouse Gourds are green, hourglass-shaped fruits eight to ten inches long.

Their slow maturity rate ensures a low growth cycle and high nutritional content. Once harvested and properly dried, the sturdy shells can be carved, drilled, and finished into functional birdhouses that provide shelter for backyard birds for years to come, making this as much a woodworking and craft project as it is a gardening one.

These gourd seeds promote sustainable gardening and are perfect for creating a unique birdhouse that stands out as an attractive ornament in the garden. They can also provide a fun project for children to paint funny faces on them. An excellent activity for the whole family, birdhouse gourd seeds let you create custom art pieces that will make your garden stand out.

Whether you're growing them purely for ornamental vine coverage or planning ahead for a homemade birdhouse, this variety offers a rewarding, multi-season project for gardeners of all experience levels.
