Godetia - Sybil Sherwood

(Clarkia amoena)

Also called satin flower for the silky sheen of their rippled, slightly iridescent blooms, 'Sybil Sherwood' flowers resemble elegant funnel-shaped azaleas. These plants thrive in the refreshing temperatures of early spring, blooming for several months in glorious salmon-pink shades. Be sure to cut them often, as they make absolutely beautiful cut flowers that truly bring spring indoors. Note: all Godetia are now in the genus Clarkia, but they are known and sold under both names.
