About This Style

Vintage rugs are designed to evoke an antique aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash-like colour variation, or worn-look surface treatments. Floral motifs in these pieces range from dense, scrolled all-over fields to mid-century rose-bouquet repeats, reflecting both traditional Ottoman vocabulary and 20th-century regional variations. These rugs frequently reference the broader tradition of mid-20th-century Anatolian hand-weaving, where pieces were produced in small village workshops using natural dyes and regional motifs.

Where It Works

The flatweave construction allows this rug to lie completely flat, making it suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entryways, or kitchens. Its thin profile is ideal for layering over larger carpets and provides efficient heat transfer when used with underfloor heating systems.

Why Choose This Rug?

• — Features a sophisticated green palette with a distressed, ghost-pattern floral motif that highlights the rug's aged character.
• — Constructed from a cotton and polyester blend, combining the breathability of cotton with the moisture resistance and strength of polyester.
• — The flatwoven, no-pile design ensures a durable surface that resists shedding and maintains a clean, low-profile appearance.
• — These rugs reference the Anatolian hand-weaving tradition; each piece is one-of-a-kind, with minor variations in colour and pattern that are characteristic of vintage-style production.
• — Engineered for versatility, the rug is fully reversible and safe for use in high-traffic zones or over underfloor heating.
