Description
In the mirror world underneath the surface of streams and lakes, the eels slither and cavort. They are the snakes of the waters, embodiment of the ease with which water changes character from placid lake to pounding surf and rippling brook. The eels are motive energy.
This circle of three eels is from a margin in the Book of Kells, and has three tangled eels meeting their noses in the center.
